The Pottery Experience
Overview
Duration: Approximately 1 hour
Tools & materials given: Apron, clay, potter's wheel, cutting and shaping tools.
Item made: Cup, bowl, plate, vase, or any other simple shape.
Number of items made: 2
How It Is Made
- A brief introduction by an instructor.
- Making two items of your choice with the help and guidance of an instructor.
- Choosing the glaze color from the available options.
Finishing Process
- Trimming and name engraving on the bottom
- Drying
- Bisque firing
- Glazing
- Glaze firing
Please note: finishing takes approximately two weeks. If you have only a few days remaining, let us know — we will tell you if it's possible to have your pieces ready before you leave the country.
Pick Up of Your Items
Once your items are ready for collection, we will contact you. We can also arrange delivery when needed.
Due to limited storage space, we can only keep finished items for up to 6 months. Items not collected within this period may be donated or repurposed, so please arrange pick-up or delivery in good time.
